Bus trip to João Pessoa

Traveling by bus to João Pessoa/PB is not only about seeing the sun rise first, but also about seeing amazing places. Along with a lot of culture, the city has wonderful beaches as well. As one of the smallest and oldest capitals of the Northeast, Jampa (as it is affectionately called) has only one bus station. We are talking about the Severino Camelo Bus Terminal, the main gateway to the city. And it's right in the center of the city. Do you feel like enjoying the best beaches and sights in Joao Pessoa, but haven't bought your ticket yet? On Brasil by Bus you can find everything you need. Come with us!

Arriving in João Pessoa

The bus station of João Pessoa/PB is small and simple, but has excellent service. :) Post Office, restrooms, drinking fountains, ATMs, snack bars, shops and a taxi stand make your arrival at Jampa even more peaceful. Near the center of João Pessoa, the terminal is 9 km from the most popular hotels and inns of the city in Tambau and Cabo Branco neighborhoods. If you prefer to take a municipal bus to go to any neighborhood of the city, just get to the Integration Terminal which is just in front.

Meet the destination

So you want nice beaches, good sights, good places to go shopp and nice clubs? Find all of this and a bit more while traveling to Joao Pessoa/PB! :) Known as the "Sun Gate" for being located on the easternmost point of the Americas, this is where the sun rises first. That means you can enjoy much more! During the day, the best call is to visit the beaches of João Pessoa. You can choose the most urban, such as Bessa, Cabo Branco, Manaíra and Tambaú, or the more rustic South coast ones like Coqueirinho and the naturist beach of Tambaba. Relaxing in the natural pools of Picãozinho or Seixas Beach are also excellent alternatives. When the sun sets, we suggest you to go to Jacaré Beach to do the most classic program: enjoy the spectacle of nature to the sound of Jurandy do Sax. Every day, the sun sets in its canoe over the waters of the Paraiba River. At night, the urban beach boardwalk boils with many tents, bars and restaurants with live music. If you have more time, include stops at the Paraibano Handicraft Market (MAP) and the Historic City Center, especially at the São Francisco Cultural Center. The most beautiful example of Brazilian Baroque is in it. João Pessoa is 121 km from Recife/PE and 189 km from Natal. So it can be a fantastic stop on a Northeast tour. Can you imagine?
