It all started in 1934, when young João Mansur bought a bus and started his first passenger transportation line connecting Chácara/MG to Juiz de Fora/MG and, in the following years, lines to Barbacena, Rio Novo, São João Del Rei and Carandaí, all cities of Minas Gerais. It was in 1949 that the name Unida Mansur Company (United Mansur Company) emerged, when it grew and strengthened itself greatly in the Mata de Minas (a Forest Zone in Minas Gerais) and Mantiqueira region (a chain of mountains in the Southeast).
